Hey everyone! Life at the MTC is going I guess. Everyday is
basically the same and it's getting pretty repetitive. I officially only have
one more week here until I hop on a plane to Philly!! I cannot wait to finally
get out into the mission field! Nothing very exciting happened this week and it
was pretty uneventful. We taught this guy named Joseph and things went so good!
He is super interested in learning about the gospel and I wish we could keep
teaching him. Hopefully the next missionaries that teach him do some good
stuff. I've been loving missionary life! This has honestly probably been the
best decision I've ever made! It obviously hasn't been the easiest but it has
been the greatest. These two short weeks that I have been here have helped me
so much! I can finally see myself starting to become the person I want to be.
If any of you are trying to decide if you want to go on a mission, GO! I've
only been out for a short two weeks but they have been the greatest. I am
finally starting to move forward and progress. I remember people always telling
me to go on a mission because it will change my life. I couldn't see it then,
but now that I'm experiencing it for myself it has changed my life. I know it's
only been two weeks but so far they have been some of the best two weeks! This
week in the Book of Mormon I was reading in Mosiah about Abinidi. I love the
story of Abinidi and how even though King Noah was going to kill him, he didn't
take back anything that he believed in. He stood firm in his faith and wouldn't
deny Christ. I would like to encourage all of you to read the Book of Mormon
daily. It has changed my life so much and I promise you that as you read it, it
will change your life and you will become close to Christ. I hope you all have
a fantastic week!
